"A Thankful Heart" Free People Top with AG jeans
Hello dear friends! Hunter boy (my oldest almost 3) decided to join me for this post today which is perfectly fitting for what I want to share with you today!
I am in an interesting season right now as a mom. It is wonderful, but can be super challenging. If you are a mom you can relate to the joy you experience and the occasional frustration. There was a point where I felt extremely discouraged, the days can be long serving 2 little toddlers all day. So I needed a perspective change. So today's focus for me is to not only ask God for things, or ask Him to pull me out of situations, or to ask Him to get me to the goal faster. I'm going to shift my focus from asking--->to thanking. I will still present my requests to the Lord, but in doing so I will try to keep a thankful heart, recognizing that He is sovereign over all things; and realizing that each blessing I currently have is NOT from my own strength or doing anyway, but simply a grace-filled gift from my heavenly Father.
Thank you Lord for my many blessings. My health, my wonderful family, and the privilege it is to know You!
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. -Philippians 4:6
